Project Skunk2 Civic Ex-RR

I haven't really had a chance to update this blog but its been awhile since we have even talked about project Ex-RR. This all started with a phone call when Bernard called me and told me he found a good deal on a civic coupe shell and all it really needed was a motor and the car would be up and running again. Little did I know that it was going to take a whole lot of work just to get this car rolling on its feet. 18 months later the car has been sitting with alot of Skunk2 good but still no motor... I think its about time we get this car rolling out for paint! Here are some pictures of the car now and some specs on the motor and chassis.

New Products from DEMONWERKZ

New EVO JDM Rear crash beam!

The rear crash beam solution for street-driven Evo VII-IX owners have been waiting for is here. Demonwerkz JDM rear crash beam was designed with “street enthusiasts” who want to visually enhance the appearance of their car with out having to sacrifice safety to do it .

Demonwerkz all-new, tubular stainless steel crash beam which was tested and developed on the company’s own Evo 9 track car—is a direct-fit replacement and reduces the flex by tying two parallel frame supports together which is critical to the suspension of the car. Demonwerkz all-new JDM spec crash beam features a 59" wide tubular steel beam and a specially designed mounting bracket as well as an integrated light mount and license plate bracket that together reduces vibration when mounting the OEM bracket to the JDM rear bumper.

Demonwerkz is a simple bolt-on affair. Unlike other hacked OEM crash beams, Demonwerkz incorporates the factory configuration, leaving the crash beam in its original location, which means the original mounting locations can be reused. Our JDM Spec rear crash beam also includes an extra mounting hold if you want to bolt it down the frame which is optional and will not affect the vehicle what so ever.

Demonwerkz rear crash beams are available now and retail for $299.99

FEATURES:
Stainless Steel Mounting Brackets
59” Wide Tubular Steel Beam (Wider then OEM)
Heavy Duty Steel Mounting Brackets
